Product Description
IOTA 91003 is a cyclopentasiloxane dispersion of silicone resin, designed for convenient use. It forms a long-lasting, water-resistant, hydrophobic, and transfer-resistant film. The product has moderate volatility and is recommended to be incorporated into formulations at temperatures below 50°C.
Since cyclopentasiloxane can evaporate over time in non-sealed conditions, solid silicone resin may precipitate. Therefore, the product must be stored in a sealed container. If solid resin appears, it can be filtered out and the remaining product reused.

It is widely used in color cosmetics, skincare, and haircare products, including long-wear foundations, lipsticks, sunscreens, conditioners, and styling products. Due to its moderate volatility, it is recommended to maintain formulation and processing temperatures below 50°C to avoid loss of active ingredients and ensure product stability.
Recommended Usage Levels
Color cosmetics: 2%–10%
Haircare products: 0.5%–5%

Packaging and Storage
1. Packaged in 25 kg plastic drums or 200 kg metal drums.
2. During storage and transport, prevent moisture and contamination from acids, bases, or other impurities.
3. Non-toxic and non-hazardous for transport.
