IOTA 345 is a volatile cyclic silicone mixture, primarily composed of pentamers and hexamers, serving as an ideal alternative to Dow Corning XIAMETER™ PMX-0345. It is a colorless, transparent liquid with no odor, non-irritating, and provides a refreshing, non-greasy, conditioning effect, delivering a soft and silky feel to skin and hair. This ingredient improves spreadability and application in personal care formulations. It is highly compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients, evaporates almost completely leaving minimal residue, and can reduce surface tension while aiding pigment dispersion.
