IOTA 9942 Caprylyl Trimethicone is a physiologically inert silicone fluid with excellent solvent compatibility. The product exhibits outstanding volatility and provides effective conditioning for both skin and hair, delivering a fresh, dry, and lightweight sensory feel.

IOTA 9942 is non-irritating and free from adverse effects on skin and hair, making it an ideal conditioning agent and carrier. It is widely used in personal care applications such as skin care, sun care, color cosmetics, deodorants, antiperspirants, and hair conditioning products.

Properties and Applications

The product can be used directly as a carrier or primary raw material, or as a formulation additive. It may also be incorporated into water-based systems via emulsification. Specific usage methods should be determined according to formulation requirements.

Recommended Usage Level: 0.5 – 20.0% (adjustable based on application needs)

Packaging and Storage

1. Supplied in 200 kg iron drums.

2. During transportation and storage, keep away from heat and ignition sources. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and rain. Containers must be tightly sealed after each use.

3. This product is classified as non-toxic and non-hazardous for transportation.
