Product Description
IOTA 9939 is a polyether-modified silicone fluid and can be used as an alternative to Dow XIAMETER™ OFX-0193. The siloxane backbone is grafted with ethoxylated nonionic hydrophilic side chains, providing excellent water solubility and outstanding surface activity. It effectively reduces surface tension, offering superior wetting and emulsifying performance, and serves as an ideal emulsifier for various silicone oils and other oily ingredients.
This product features hydrophilicity, antistatic properties, softness and smoothness, breathability, and excellent foam stability. It is particularly suitable for gel-based products, facial cleansers, and cream formulations. In addition, it can be used as a foam stabilizer in aerosol products and as a plasticizer for organic resins.

Properties and Applications
IOTA 9939 is a nonionic surfactant with excellent interfacial wetting performance and complete miscibility with water. Its key advantages include good breathability and foam stability, a silky and soft skin feel, enhanced penetration of active ingredients, long-lasting gloss, and low skin irritation.
The product is widely used in personal care formulations such as gel waters, mousses, facial cleansers, and creams. Thanks to its excellent surface activity and water solubility, it is very easy to use. In gel formulations, it is commonly combined with film-forming polymers such as PVP K-30 or VA-64 to produce transparent systems with enhanced softness and shine. In facial cleansers and cream products, the typical dosage ranges from 1% to 3%. In addition, it is suitable for aerosol products as a foam stabilizer and as a plasticizer for organic resins.
The recommended usage level is 1.0%–3.0%, and the exact amount should be adjusted according to formulation requirements.
Packaging and Storage
1. Packed in 25 kg plastic drums or 200 kg steel drums.
2. During storage and transportation, protect from moisture and prevent contamination by acids, alkalis, or other impurities. Avoid direct sunlight and rain exposure. Containers must be tightly sealed after each use.
3. This product is classified as non-toxic and non-hazardous and may be transported as general cargo.
4. Shelf life: 2 years.
