Silicone oil, as a liquid organic silicone product, has a wide variety of types and is widely used. This type of polysiloxane is mainly distinguished based on the different substituents on its chain. Specifically, silicone oil can be subdivided into multiple types, including but not limited to methyl silicone oil, phenyl silicone oil, ethyl silicone oil, hydroxyl silicone oil, amino silicone oil, hydrogen-containing silicone oil, vinyl silicone oil, and special silicone oil modified by polyether or fluorinated treatment. These different types of silicone oil play an important role in different industrial fields and daily applications due to their unique chemical structures and properties.
