1.Demand-driven: The transition to new energy has led to the upgrading of materials
With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle and energy storage industries, strict requirements have been put forward for the material performance of core components. Fluorosilicone oil, due to its unique chemical stability and physicochemical properties, has become a key material for solving the lubrication and heat dissipation problems of new energy equipment. Data shows that the domestic market size of fluorosilicone oil in the new energy sector reached 1.86 billion yuan in 2025 and is expected to exceed 2.8 billion yuan by 2030, with an average annual compound growth rate of 8.7%. Among them, transmission systems and battery thermal management are the two core demand scenarios.

2. Breakthroughs have been made in the lubricating oil for the transmission system
The fluorosilicone oil-based lubricating oil composition developed for the transmission system of new energy vehicles has recently completed technical verification. This product significantly enhances the solubility of anti-wear agents in base oils by introducing a special siloxane structure, and at the same time, it features excellent low-temperature fluidity and electrochemical stability. Within a wide temperature range of -50 ℃ to 280℃, its viscosity change rate is less than 15%, which can meet the dual requirements of lubrication and cooling for oil-cooled motor reducers and extend the service life of the transmission system by more than 20%.

3. Battery heat dissipation breaks through the thermal management bottleneck
Significant progress has been made in the research and development of fluorosilicone oil-based coolants in the field of battery thermal management. The dielectric constant of the new product is as low as 2.06, significantly better than the 2.26 level of similar international products. Its thermal resistance coefficient is only 0.08K · cm²/W, far lower than that of silicone gel and mineral oil. This coolant can meet the efficient heat dissipation requirements of new energy vehicle battery packs and AI servers. While meeting the requirements of the "strictest battery safety order in history", it reduces the energy consumption of the heat dissipation system by 15%. Currently, it has entered the market trial stage.

4. Policy support accelerates import substitution
At the policy level, fluorosilicone oil has been listed as a key strategic material, and the domestic production rate target for 2025 is set at 70%. At present, domestic enterprises have broken through the production technology of high-purity products, and the import substitution space for high-purity (≥99.9%) products exceeds 3 billion yuan. Industry insiders predict that with the popularization of green production processes and the application of intelligent equipment, the production cost of fluorosilicone oil will decrease by 15% to 20%. In the next five years, its penetration rate in high-end fields such as new energy and electronics will continue to rise, becoming an important engine for the growth of the new materials industry.
