In the field of materials science, hydrogen-containing silicone oil has always held an important position. However, traditional hydrogen-containing silicone oil has many problems. For instance, the content of its D3-D10 rings is as high as 3000ppm, which is like laying a hidden danger of volatilization in the material. The hydrogen content can fluctuate by ±0.15%, making it difficult to precisely control the crosslinking reaction, just like opening a blind box full of uncertainties. Meanwhile, when the residual hydrogen chloride exceeds 50ppm, the pungent smell emitted not only affects the working environment of workers but also causes problems for product quality.
2. Innovative processes bring a glimmer of hope
A solvent-free process has emerged, bringing a revolutionary breakthrough to the development of hydrogen-containing silicone oil. This process employs directional hydrolysis control technology, enabling methyldichlorosilane to be precisely and gradually hydrolyzed, as accurate as a precision clock. In combination with the dynamic protection system of silicon-hydrogen bonds, the retention rate of active hydrogen has been significantly increased to 99.8%. Finally, through gradient vacuum devolatilization technology, the residual amount of volatile substances is compressed to below the industry limit value.
In this innovative process, the 5℃ precise temperature-controlled hydrolysis reactor completely eliminates the formation of cyclic side reactions. The nano-scale passivation film encapsulates active hydrogen, reducing the attenuation rate of Si-H during storage to less than 0.1% per month, while completely eliminating residual chloride ions. Three-stage molecular distillation columns are connected in series, with a D3-D10 ring retention rate of over 99.5%, ultimately obtaining food-grade white transparent liquid.

Hydrogen-containing silicone oil produced through innovative processes performs exceptionally well in extreme environments. After continuous baking at 250℃ for 100 hours, the hydrogen content only decreased by 0.05%. It can still maintain fluidity in a low-temperature environment of -70 ℃, and its viscosity remains stable within 800cP. In the space environment simulation cabin, the amount of volatile substances escaping is less than 0.01%. In the actual combat verification of missile seals, a certain type of intercontinental missile used silicone oil with a hydrogen content of 1.62% to prepare the sealing ring. During the test launch, it successfully withstood the high-temperature impact of 380℃ when passing through the atmosphere, and maintained zero leakage in the hydraulic system at the moment of landing impact, with its service life exceeding the 12-year mark.
4. The application in multiple fields has achieved remarkable results
In the field of food safety production, after the introduction of new hydrogen-containing silicone oil in the baking factory, the residue test report of the mold release agent shows that the content of volatile organic compounds (VOC) is less than 10ppm, the migration of bread crust is only 0.003mg/dm², and the respiratory discomfort symptoms of the production line workers have dropped to zero. In terms of medical implant materials, after the silicone rubber used for artificial heart valves was modified, the hemolysis test pass rate was 100%, the in vivo calcification rate decreased by 47%, and the service life was extended to 25 years. In terms of aviation sealing technology, after the new generation of wide-body passenger aircraft engine seals adopted relevant hydrogen-containing silicone oil, the fuel permeability rate dropped to 0.02g/m² · h (1/10 of the international standard), the maintenance cycle jumped from 800 hours to 3,000 hours, and the annual maintenance cost of a single aircraft was saved by 3.8 million yuan. In the field of military equipment protection, after using hydrogen-containing silicone oil as the special lubricant for armored vehicle transmission systems, it can maintain lubricity for 200 hours in sandstorm environments. The electromagnetic pulse protection meets the highest level of the military standard MIL-STD-461G, and the cold start torque in extremely cold regions is reduced by 62%.
