The green manufacturing of fluorosilicone oil and the expansion of emerging markets are reshaping the global industrial chain pattern

1.The closed-loop production model leads sustainable development
Facing the global pressure to reduce carbon emissions, the fluorosilicone oil industry is shifting from "end-of-pipe treatment" to "source control". By introducing technologies such as supercritical fluid extraction and bio-based raw material substitution, the enterprise has reduced the usage of fluorine-containing solvents in the production process by more than 50%. At the same time, it has developed degradable polyether-based fluorosilicone oil, with a biodegradation rate of up to 60% in soil environments. In addition, the establishment of a closed-loop recycling system enables waste fluorosilicone oil to be reused in fields such as lubricants and mold release agents after purification and modification, significantly reducing resource consumption and environmental pollution.

2. The Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asian markets have become growth engines
The Asia-Pacific region has become the world's largest consumer market for fluorosilicone oil, accounting for 46% of the global share in 2024. Among them, the market size of China reached 2.37 billion US dollars and is expected to exceed 2.65 billion US dollars by 2025. Southeast Asian countries have seen an average annual growth rate of over 12% in demand for fluorosilicone oil, thanks to the rapid development of industries such as automotive manufacturing and electronic assembly. For instance, auto parts manufacturers in Vietnam and Thailand purchase large quantities of fluorosilicone oil for engine seals and transmission lubrication, while palm oil processing enterprises in Indonesia use it as a food-grade mold release agent, promoting the diversified development of regional markets.

3. High-performance materials drive the upgrade of aerospace
In the aerospace field, the low volatility and high chemical inertness of fluorosilicone oil make it an "invisible guardian" for key components of aircraft. The new type of fluoropolymer block fluorosilicone oil, by introducing perfluoropolyether segments, combines the stability of polysiloxane with the low surface energy characteristics of perfluoropolyether and is used in scenarios such as fuel pipeline sealing of rocket engines and lubrication of satellite solar panel drive mechanisms. With the rise of commercial aerospace and low-altitude economy, it is estimated that the global demand for fluorosilicone oil in the aerospace field will reach 20,000 tons by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 11.1%.

4. Supply Chain Optimization and cross-border investment Opportunities
In response to geopolitical and trade barriers, fluorosilicone oil enterprises are accelerating their global production capacity layout. Leading domestic manufacturers have established production bases in Southeast Asia, taking advantage of the local low-cost benefits and free trade agreement policies to radiate their products to emerging markets such as India and the Middle East. At the same time, by acquiring European specialty materials enterprises, we can obtain high-end technologies and brand channels, and enhance our competitiveness in niche fields such as automotive hydraulic oil and medical-grade products. In the future, the industry will further reduce logistics costs and shorten product delivery cycles through digital supply chain management and cross-border R&D cooperation.
