1.Group standards lead the high-quality development of the industry
The China Fluorosilicone Organic Materials Industry Association recently released 16 group standards, covering the entire chain of fluorosilicone oil production, testing and application. Among them, the "Low Viscosity Hydroxyl Fluorosilicone Oil" standard refines the product viscosity range to 5-50 mpa · s and imposes a strict requirement of metal ion content ≤0.5ppm, accelerating the localization process of electronic-grade products.
The standard innovation is reflected in the detection methods. For instance, the determination of phenyl content by proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy has an accuracy three times higher than that of traditional chemical methods. A certain enterprise successfully entered the ASML supply chain system by upgrading its standards to increase the purity of fluorosilicone oil for semiconductors from 99.9% to 99.999%.

2. Technical parameters are benchmarked against international cutting-edge standards
The new generation of fluorosilicone oil products have achieved breakthroughs in key performance indicators:
The temperature resistance range has been expanded to -70 ℃ to 300℃, which is 20% higher than that of traditional products

A polyvinyl fluorosilicone oil developed by a certain university has increased its shear stability by 10 times through molecular cross-linking technology. It has been applied to high-speed rail gearboxes, extending the major overhaul cycle from 500,000 kilometers to 800,000 kilometers.

3. Standardization promotes the normalization of the market
With the improvement of the standard system, the industry concentration has significantly increased. By 2025, the CR5 (market share of the top five enterprises) will increase from 45% in 2020 to 65%, and leading enterprises will reduce costs by 18% through large-scale production. The international standard "Test Method for Fuel Resistance of Fluorosilicone Oil" (ISO 23045), which was led and formulated by our country, has been officially implemented, filling the international gap in this field. This standard adopts the JP8 fuel immersion test, requiring that the quality change of fluorosilicone oil within 72 hours be ≤10%, which is 30% stricter than the original ASTM standard.
In the international market competition, domestic fluorosilicone oil has rapidly replaced imported products by virtue of its cost-performance advantage. The fluorosilicone oil for wind power of a certain enterprise has passed the DNV GL certification. Its price is only 70% of the similar products of Wacker in Germany. The market share in Europe is expected to exceed 15% in 2025.
