1. The new silicone rubber raw material patent came out, and the performance was significantly improved
Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office published an important patent on silicone rubber. The patent focuses on silicone rubber raw materials, silicone rubber and its preparation methods, as well as related product applications, such as engine cooling pipes and automotive fields. This silicone rubber raw material is unique in the formula, including a variety of methyl vinyl silicone rubber raw rubber, as well as white carbon black, hydroxyl silicone oil, methoxy silicone oil and other components.

On September 25, 2023, the National Health Commission issued a notice to update the standards for rubber materials and products used in food contact, and the new standard GB4806.11-2023 was formally implemented on September 6, 2024. One of the major changes in the adjustment of the standard is that silicone rubber materials and products are no longer included in the scope of application of the original standard, but are separately managed.

3. Silicone rubber helps UHV thyristor localization

Compared with imported products, the domestic silicone rubber tensile strength increased by 25%, shear strength increased by 54.4%, paste protection ability is better, and passed the national testing center test. At the same time, the domestic silicone rubber-protected UHV thyristors developed jointly with related enterprises also successfully passed a number of strict type tests, and realized the overall domestic production of thyristors. This achievement not only fills the gap in China's thyristor silicone rubber industry chain, but also improves the autonomous controllable ability of UHV converter valve thyristors, providing strong support for the development of China's electric power industry.

4. The application of silicone rubber has been expanded to medical, automotive and other fields
With its excellent performance, the application of silicone rubber in medical, automotive and other industries continues to expand. In the medical field, with its biocompatibility, chemical stability and other characteristics, silicone rubber is widely used in the manufacture of medical devices, such as artificial joints, infusion tubes, breast implants and so on. Its characteristics of non-toxic, tasteless and not easy to cause human rejection ensure the safety and reliability of medical devices.
