1. Epoxy resin modification
By reacting with epoxy groups, epoxy-terminated silicone oil can introduce the characteristics of silicon into epoxy resin, thereby enhancing toughness, improving electrical properties, and reducing internal stress, thereby enhancing the comprehensive performance of epoxy resin.
2. Organic block polymer intermediate
End-epoxy silicone oil is an important raw material for the preparation of organic block polymers, especially in the textile printing and dyeing industry. As a key raw material for a new generation of ternary copolymer block silicone oil softeners, its products solve the problems of yellowing, non-hydrophilicity, and easy demulsification and sticking to rollers of ordinary amino silicone oil.
3. Graft modification
End-epoxy polyether silicone oil can graft small molecular weight polyether amines with high grafting efficiency, and can further enrich the functionality of materials by controlling and adjusting the degree of grafting.
4. Release agent
In the molding process of epoxy resin, end-epoxy silicone oil is used as an internal and external release agent, providing excellent release effects and is an ideal release material.
5. Interface reinforcement of composite materials
End-epoxy silicone oil has good affinity for fibers and fillers, similar to the effect of silane coupling agents, which can improve the bonding strength of composite interfaces, thereby enhancing the strength and durability of composite materials.
6. Tackifier
As a broad-spectrum tackifier for addition-type silicone rubber, end-epoxy silicone oil performs well in bonding materials such as aluminum and glass, effectively improving the bonding strength.
7. Multi-domain applications
End-epoxy silicone oil is also widely used in textile finishing, chemical intermediates, resin crosslinking agents, building materials additives and other industries, providing effective solutions for improving product performance and processing efficiency.
