PART 01  Blocking Materials
 
    In power construction, the use of fireproof sealing materials is an important method to block the spread of flames and reduce disasters in fires. Silicone fireproof sealing materials have excellent high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance, dimensional stability, chemical stability, electrical insulation, waterproof and moisture resistance, and are a new type of fireproof sealing material that has developed rapidly in recent years. In addition to the above characteristics, silicone foam fireproof materials also have the advantage of low density and are a lightweight fireproof material. Silicone foam for fireproof sealing is mainly prepared by condensation, dehydrogenation, and foaming of hydroxyl silicone oil and hydrogen-containing silicone oil under the action of catalysts. It has the characteristics of simple construction, fast foaming, adjustable cell structure, and has broad application prospects in the fields of power, construction, transportation, new energy, and chemical industry.
 
PART 02 Medical Materials
 
    1. Solid medical silicone rubber can replace bone or cartilage as tissue filling or scaffold material, so it can be made into artificial joints and artificial tendons to repair defects of limb joints and tendons. Plastic materials are often used as materials for repairing deformities and defects in the face, ears, nose, etc.
 
    2. Catheter: Medical catheters are the fastest-growing and most widely used products among medical silicone rubber products. They can be divided into internal and external catheters according to their use. The external catheters mainly include various types of pump tubes, such as artificial heart-lung machine pump tubes, connecting tubes with various instruments, infusion tubes, etc. The internal catheters include various types of intubation tubes, catheters, and drainage tubes. The current development trend of medical catheters for human body is miniaturization, thin wall, multi-lumen, and multi-function in one tube. Especially for catheters that are left in the body, whether for long-term or short-term use, the advantages of silicone rubber material and catheter are unmatched by other materials
 
    3. Cranial surgery products: Silicone rubber products used in cranial surgery mainly include artificial skulls, silicon-titanium composite repair materials, six-in-one devices for hydrocephalus, ventricular drainage tubes, and artificial meninges. Currently, the artificial meninges made of silicone rubber and nylon fabric developed in China can be used to repair traumatic dural defects, repair dural or spinal dural defects caused by the removal of tumor-related basal or infiltrating areas on the dura mater, and so on.
 
PART 03 Sealing Material
 
    Silicone rubber sealing strips have excellent high temperature resistance (200-280℃) and low temperature resistance, good physiological stability, excellent small deformation (200℃, not more than 50% in 48 hours), breakdown voltage (20-25KV/mm), ozone resistance, ultraviolet resistance, and are widely used in medical flow guidance, electronics, lighter tubes, ignition gun tubes, wire and cable... processed into sealing strips and flange rings have good performance in drying equipment, especially on the door of the drying machine, which is more effective than ordinary rubber seals. It has a service life more than three times that of ordinary rubber seals.
