Release agent, also known as anti-adhesive agent, is used between the substrate and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. Its primary function is to protect the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer applied to the substrate, preventing it from being contaminated or adhering to other objects, thus preventing it from losing its effectiveness. Whether it's film substrates, baking paper, self-adhesive envelopes, or hygiene products, release coatings play an important role. Among the commonly used release agents for release films, silicone release agents are one of the most common types of release agents
Release agents can be divided into three types in terms of reaction mechanisms: addition, condensation, and radiation curing, commonly known as platinum catalysis, organotin catalysis, UV and EB curing. From the product shape, there are solvent type, solvent-free type and lotion type.
