Recently, information released by the State Intellectual Property Office shows that Hubei Xingrui Silicon Materials Co., Ltd., together with Hubei Huanyu Chemical Co., Ltd., has successfully applied for a patent for "a preparation method of fluorosilicone oil with controllable fluorine content", realizing continuous adjustment of fluorine content in the range of 5-70 wt%. This breaks the dilemma of difficult balance between performance and cost in existing technologies and lays a foundation for the precise application of fluorosilicone oil in multiple fields. As a high-performance material with both silicone flexibility and fluorinated properties, the fluorine content of fluorosilicone oil directly determines its key properties such as surface energy, solvent resistance and oil resistance. Different application scenarios have significantly different requirements for fluorine content. Traditional preparation methods are difficult to achieve continuous adjustment of fluorine content, resulting in single product performance, which cannot meet the personalized needs of different industries—either insufficient performance or high cost. The patented technology announced this time successfully achieves gradient adjustment of fluorine content by precisely controlling the feeding ratio of fluorosilane monomers and non-fluorosilane monomers. Among them, low-fluorine content products can significantly improve weather resistance and oil resistance at a cost close to that of traditional silicone oil; high-fluorine content products can provide extreme surface performance, suitable for harsh working conditions. The method has the advantages of simple process, environmental friendliness and easy industrial production. The products can be widely used in surface treatment, release, lubrication, coatings and other fields, realizing precise optimization of performance on demand. At the same time, IOTA-H-M1200 methyl hydrogen-containing fluorosilicone oil launched by Anhui IOTA Silicone Co., Ltd. has also achieved technological breakthroughs. Through the synergistic effect of trifluoropropyl and silicon-hydrogen segments, the oil resistance of this product is 300% higher than that of similar products, and it can realize low-temperature rapid curing, showing broad application prospects in new energy, green building, medical consumables and other fields.
